The Good Shepherd and His Sheep!

For He is our God, And we are the people of His pasture, And the sheep of His hand.

Psalm 95:7

It is a good thing to be a sheep!  Let me explain.  This world will say that if you are a sheep, then you are a mindless follower of the system.  But this is the evil one taking what is good and turning a good thing into a bad thing.

Jesus taught us that he is the good shepherd.  His followers are his sheep.  His followers are not mindless but are God minded.  His followers strive to do what is righteous (what is good in the sight of the Lord) contrary to those who mindlessly follow the world and its sinful nature.

I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.

John 10:11

Jesus gave his life on the cross for his followers to have eternal salvation through his shed blood. When a person makes the decision to follow Jesus, they are a new creation in Christ.  All old things are passed away and there is a new beginning for them.  2 Corinthians 5:17

See our blog Salvation. See our blog Make a Life Change.

Right now, in this mixed-up world people are searching for hope, for peace, for safety and security. Maybe you are searching? All of these can be found in Jesus our Good Shepherd.  If you are looking for guidance, Jesus can give you this when no other can. See our blog, Find Peace.

I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own.

John 10:14

Jesus knows the voice of his sheep. As his followers, he hears our prayers and our cries.

Also, we know his voice.  We listen, we study the Word of God (Bible), we pray and fast, and are comforted by him.

Jesus said the following to the Jews when they asked if he was the Christ:

“I told you, and you do not believe.  The works that I do in My Father’s name, they bear witness of Me.  But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep, as I said to you.  My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.  My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. I and My Father are one.”

John 10:25-30

No one can snatch a follower of Jesus Christ out of his hand!  Jesus said it himself.  When a person is saved and follows him, He gives them eternal life.  No one can take this away, not the evil one, not the government, not a disease, not anything.  Jesus is our hope. Jesus is our salvation.

“When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory.  All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats, And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.  Then the King will say to those on His right hand, Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.”

Matthew 25:31-34

There are two groups.  Which group are you in? Be a Sheep! See our blog You are not Alone .

Everyone will choose who they will follow. Who will you choose?  Choose Jesus!

For believers, Jesus is our good shepherd. We follow him.  We are his sheep. He leads us. We should not fear because he comforts us.  He has gone to prepare a place for us, and he will return to receive us to himself.

Let’s pray this Psalm now.

A Psalm of David

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord

Psalm 23

 Jesus is coming!

Read more about his return here at these links, Are you Ready and Prepare, Purify, The King is Coming.

You are Not Alone

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
1 Corinthiains 15:58

Plain and simple what we all are experiencing in our world is a battle.  The unseen forces of good and evil are at work.  It’s time for everyone to make a decision.

It’s time to choose who you will serve.  Who will you trust?  Who will you listen to?  Who will you follow?

God                                     Satan

Good                                   Evil

Heaven                               Hell

Heavenly Things               Worldly Things

Narrow path                      Wide path

Our current government is pushing policies and mandates that do not align with the Bible.  When something like this happens, as Christians we can not deny our Savior, our Creator, we should stand.

Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong.

I Corinthians 16:13

We were created in the image of God. Genesis 1:26-27   It is our God given right to decide what we do with our bodies.  No person, entity, or government official has the authority to take away our God given rights.

And what else can we do when we stand?  We trust in the Lord!  See our blog Who Do You Trust?

We pray and we fast.  See our blog Pray, Often and Daily. See our blog Prepare, Purify, The King is Coming.

We study the word of God, our Bible.

For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Hebrews 4:12

In Ephesians Paul tells us to put on the whole armor of God.  This means God will help us and we do not fight alone.  See below.

Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth,
having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
above all, taking the shield of faith with which, you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.
And take the helmet of salvation,
and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God,
praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit,
being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.

Ephesians 6:11-18

We must choose.  We can no longer be complacent.  The narrow path is difficult but leads to everlasting life.  Matthew 7:13-14   It is worth the struggle.  See our blog Choose life

Come out of this world and make a change, reverse directions, reevaluate, realign, and live for Jesus.

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Romans 12:2

If you have not chosen Jesus Christ as you Savior there is no better time than right now.  See Salvation.

Jesus Christ was born on this earth.  During his life he taught truth, he healed the sick, he cast out evil spirits, and so much more. He was crucified on a cross.  He was laid in a tomb and rose on the third day.  He is now in heaven and will return.  Because of his shed blood we have salvation through accepting him as savior, believing in him, and confessing our sins.  When we do this, we are born again.  See our blog Make a Life Change. We are a new creation in Christ. All old things are passed away and all is new.  Don’t wait!  Choose Jesus.

So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil or spin;
Matthew 6:28

Find Peace in Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

The LORD will give strength to His people; The LORD will bless His people with peace.
Psalms 29:11

Everyday it seems that there are things happening around the world that line up with biblical prophecy.  The signs of the last days are becoming more and more frequent just as stated in the Bible.  See our blog post signs of the end.

Not only the current disasters unfolding in Afghanistan, the threat of Iran possibly having nuclear capabilities, the threat by surrounding countries wanting harm to Israel, the rampant lawlessness in the US government, the shortages in the supply chain, the coming one world government, the coming digital currency, digital ID/passport Id, droughts, floods, earthquakes, volcanic activity, but also the mandated policies taking our freedoms from us concerning our own bodies, all of this mounts to anxiety and worry filling our minds as we see these troubles.

Jesus our Lord and Savior said the following words as encouragement to us.  Words spoken 2,000 years ago are so relevant for right now!

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

Matthew 11:28-30

Jesus also said the following below.

“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.  In my Father’s house are many mansions, if it were not so, I would have told you.  I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know.”

John 14:1-4

Jesus let us know that he is coming for us who believe in him, accept him, follow him and call upon his name.  He has prepared a place for us.  We have hope and peace in knowing we have eternal life as followers of Christ.  This world is not ours. We are not of this world.  Our time here is temporary.

Then towards the end of the same chapter 14, Jesus said the following below.

“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you.  Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. “

John 14:27

Although we see these events unfolding before our eyes we are to trust in our Lord and go to him in prayer.  The Lord will give us peace.  His peace will see us through these hard times.  We do not know the day nor the hour of Jesus return.  We do not know how much we as Christians will have to endure.  We have trust in Him.  See our blog post on TrustSee our blog post on Prayer.

Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

1 Peter 5:6-7

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:6-7

As part of our walk with our Lord we attend a local church and follow several online ministries.  One of these online ministries is  In a recent YouTube video post, Baruch Korman and Christian Barrionevo gave a list of things that can help keep us as Christians stay grounded in a world filled with delusion.   See link to their YouTube video.  See PDF copy to download.

See list below.

What Can We Do As Believers?
  1. Spend time in the Word DAILY.
  2. Pray DAILY.
  3. Do Not offend or grieve The Holy Spirit.
  4. Fast.
  5. Spend time in praise & worship.
  6. Check everything you hear from teachers or pastors with the Word of God.
  7. Walk away from any church that focuses on prosperity and things of this world.  This includes worship that looks like rock concerts.  Ask yourself, does this glorify God?
  8. Do not sin.  If you do, REPENT.
  9. Walk away from any church that says they are replacing Israel.
  10. Do unto others as you would have them do to you & love your neighbor.

If Jesus is not Lord and Savior of your life, we encourage you to make a decision to follow him.

This past week in Jimmy Evans YouTube video he gave a wonderful prayer for salvation.  See link to video here.  Although there is no specific prayer to salvation, this one below is easy to follow.  Pray sincerely. Speak out loud.  Share with others.

Lord Jesus.

I open my heart to you,

And I invite you to come in

and be my Lord and Savior.

I confess that you are my Lord

and I believe in my heart

that God raised you from the dead.

Forgive me of all my sins.

Give me the gift of eternal life.

From this day forward,

I commit my life to you.

In Jesus name, AMEN!

Also, the following links may help you as a new Christian.  See salvation linkSee our blog post about making a life change.

PRAY!!! Daily and Often

Pray now, pray every single day, pray throughout every day that you have left on this earth.  The Lord will hear your prayers.

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will,
He hears us.
1 John 5:14

Every day we are seeing major changes to life as we once knew it. We are in the last days, the beginning of sorrows.  See link Signs of Jesus Return. Protect your heart, your mind and your soul from this world and seek first, the Lord.

If you do not know the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior, go to this link Salvation, and this link ABC’s of Salvation right now. The most important prayer is the prayer of salvation.  Believe that Jesus is the Christ.  Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.

During the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus was praying and when he stopped praying, one of his disciples asked him to teach them to pray.  Jesus said the following below.

9 In this manner, therefore, pray:
Our Father in heaven,
10Hallowed be Your name.
Thy kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth, as it is in heaven.
11Give us this day our daily bread.
12And forgive us our debts,
as we forgive our debtors.
13And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
Matthew 6:9:13 & Luke 11:2-4

This prayer is so relevant for right NOW, for today, and for until our Lord returns.  If you do not know where to start in praying regularly, start with this prayer, the Lords prayer stated above.

This prayer is so perfect.  Let’s take a look at each verse.

Verse 9 gives reverence (honor & respect) to the Father.

Verse 10 establishes the will of the Father and following his path, his teachings right now while we are alive on this earth.  It’s not saying to follow the worlds path or teachings.  This verse is clearly saying to follow God only, just as it is in heaven.  This is so relevant today. With so much deception, steering, and attacks, we must cling to the truth and turn from the lies of the enemy.

Verse 11 is petitioning the Lord to sustain us.  We need the Lord both spiritually and physically to guide us. If we do not have him, then we are lost.

Verse 12 is petitioning the Lord to forgive our sins and we are to forgive the sins of others.  Jesus gave us the parable of the unforgiving servant in Matthew 18:21-35.  We must forgive others that have wronged us because our sins have been forgiven.  Matthew 6:14-15   See Salvation link.

Verse 13 is petitioning the Lord to guide us and deliver us from the enemy, from evil, from the evil one.  OH! How much we need this right now!  Pray for guidance. Pray to not be deceived.  In Matthew 24:24 it states this: … insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Kjv

In the second portion of verse 13 it gives all honor, all power, and all glory to the Lord.

Jesus gave us the best prayer for right now.

Not only did Jesus give us the best prayer, but Jesus also instructed us where and how to pray.

“And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corner of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you they have their reward.
Matthew 6:5
But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.  “Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.
Matthew 6:6-8

If you haven’t before, start now.  Find that place in your home where you can shut everything concerning this world out and pray to the Father in Jesus name.  There’s no fancy words needed. Just humble yourself as the tax collector did in the parable Jesus told in Luke 18:9-14.

Bow down, pray and worship the Lord.

Jesus is coming!  Are you ready?

See link Are you ready.  See link Choose Life.

Oh come, let us worship and bow down;
Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.
For He is our God,
And we are the people of His pasture,
And the sheep of His hand.
Psalm 95:6-7

Who Do You Trust?

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

Proverbs 3:5-6

What a relevant scripture in times like these.  We must trust in the Lord our God.  Although we may not understand everything, God is in control.  When we acknowledge him, then he directs our path.

We should trust the Lord with all aspects of our lives.

But what about our health?  Who should we trust?  Man? Pharmacy (pharmakeia)?  Government?  Our Employer?  Globalist?  Those would be the easy choices.  But our Lord gives us instruction on our health and it is not any of these just mentioned.

Is anyone among you sick?  Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.  Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed.  The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

James 5:14-16

We each have our own walk with the Lord, Jesus Christ.  Trust and faith are two key ingredients in our walk.  Jesus said to Philip the following words:

Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.

John 14:12-14

Jesus is saying to ask in his name.  Shouldn’t we do this first before anything else?

The Lord is our strong tower.  The Lord is our refuge.  The Lord is our strength.  The Lord is our salvation.  As Christians we know that things will get difficult.  We are warned in the “Beginning of Sorrows.”  Matthew 24:8  We know that tough decisions will have to be made.

The name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe.

Proverbs 18:10
God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.

Psalm 46:1

When Peter spoke of Jesus he said the following:

Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.

Acts 4:12

The answer is clearly JESUS.  He is the way, the truth, and the life.

John 14: 6

You may ask but what if I trusted in something other that Jesus Christ before?  Well, there is no better time than right now to refocus and realign.

Maybe you chose to follow the world before and take the plunge and now the powers in charge of the world are pushing another plunge and digital identification/passport Id.  All these choices are leading and directing people into acceptance of mindlessly following them.

In Revelation, we are warned of a global leader that will cause everyone to worship him and take his mark.  Once a person does this, the decision is irreversible.  Revelation 13: 1-18, and 2 Thessalonians 2:11

We are sounding the alarm.  We are calling out to anyone that will listen.  Please awaken do the research yourself.  Draw a line and refuse to cross it.  Deception is all around.  Censorship is all around. Come out of the world. Redirect. Do not be deceived!  Matthew 24:4-5

No one can make decisions for anyone else.  We each will be faced with more difficult decisions as we approach the coming of our Lord.  Jesus gave us these warnings. See our previous post on Signs of Jesus’s return.

We want to encourage you to follow Jesus and his teachings.  There’s hope in Jesus.  There’s everlasting life in Jesus.   See Choose Life link.

If you do not know Jesus Christ, he is God’s own son.  Because he came to earth, lived, died on the cross, was resurrected, we have salvation given to us. We must make a choice to believe and accept him as our savior to receive this salvation.  See the Salvation link.

Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; “For YAH; the Lord, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation.”

Isaiah 12:2

The world is changing at a rapid pace. It seems like everyday we see signs pointing to the return of our Savior Jesus Christ. See the Are you Ready link.

Prepare, Purify, The King is Coming!

Do you feel the urgency to prepare?  We do!  Jesus is coming.

He is coming for his people. We need to be ready, watching and waiting.

What do we need to do to prepare?  We need to draw closer to the Lord.  Listen to his voice. Study. Pray.  We need to get our spiritual house in order and in doing so our physical house will come into order.

Jesus gave us the signs in Matthew 24 and then the parables in Matthew 25.

In the parable of the 10 virgins in Matthew 25:1-13 Jesus said five virgins were prepared to meet the bridegroom and five were not.  Five prepared virgins were ready with oil in their lamps and five unprepared virgins had no oil for their lamps.  The bridegroom was delayed and the ten virgins all were asleep.  At midnight the bridegroom came. The unprepared five virgins asked for some of the prepared virgin’s oil.  Those prepared refused to share and said for the unprepared to buy their own oil.  The five virgins with oil went out to meet the bridegroom.  After buying oil, the unprepared virgins came and asked for entry and were denied.

The Lord said to them, I do not know you.

There’s a lot of lessons in this parable.  We know we should be ready when Jesus returns.  No one else is responsible for our relationship with Jesus Christ.  Each one of us is accountable for ourselves.  We must be spiritually ready.  We must have our spiritual house in order.  Not just our spiritual house, but also, we must have our physical house ready.  Get ready to leave this material world behind.   If you are spiritually ready then other aspects of your live will be in place as well.

This parable says that the bridegroom was delayed.  We look for the imminent return of Jesus Christ.  If he is delayed, like the bridegroom, we are to be prepared still. Spiritually sustain yourself and physically sustain yourself. The virgins that were ready had oil.

Also, we are given the story of Noah as an example of what the days would be like at Jesus return.  Matthew 24:37-38 Also in Hebrews 11:7, we are told that Noah built the ark in fear of the Lord and preparation to save his household.

By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.
Hebrews 11:7.

In following the voice of the Lord and the direction of the Lord, Noah built an ark and stocked it in preparation of the flood and the days to come. He relied on the guidance of the Lord.

The Lord has given us the beginning and the end in our bibles. We have the signs that will lead up to the tribulation and what will happen in the tribulation.

Let us be like Noah and the five prepared virgins. Let’s be ready for our Lord’s coming.

Please don’t wait, prepare now!  Get ready.

It is easy to get caught up in the worldly things of life.  These things can build and build until you’ve lost yourself in materialism and selfishness.  The focus is on who has the best house, the best car, the best clothing, the most money, the most social followers, the most friends, and the most (fill in the blanK).    The world strives for power, and position.

As a child of God we have to purify ourselves. We have to turn and resist those things that are not of the Lord.  We should purge the things that cause stumbling blocks in our relationship with the Lord.

Is it social media?  Is it an ungodly relationship?  Is it a job that promotes things that are a sin?  Is it a thought? Is it pride?  Is it jealousy? Is it envy? Is it strife? Is it hatred? Is it an addiction? Is it shopping?  Is it the credit system? Is it the love of money? What is the sin that keeps you from the Lord?  Recognize it and make the change.

Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify you hearts, you double-minded.
James 4:7-8
Now godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content. But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
1 Timothy 6:6-10
Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; Put away the evil of you doings from before My eyes. Cease to do evil.
Isaiah 1:16
But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor.  Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work.
2 Timothy 2:20-21

The King is Coming

Jesus mentioned his return to take his church in Luke 21:34-36.  This return is the rapture of the church.  Jesus charges us to be counted worthy to escape.  The only way to do this is to come out of the world and press in to the Lord.  Make those hard changes today.  Don’t wait.  Strive for holiness.

Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.
Matthew 24:44
“But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth.  Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.”
Luke 21:34-36

If Jesus Christ is not Lord of your life, then now is the time to make a life altering change for good. See the previous blog with the ABC’s of salvation and the link Salvation.

Are you ready to make a life altering change?  Are you ready of peace?  Are you ready to trust and not worry about the world and its crumbling events?  Are you ready to rest your mind and soul?

Is the answer is YES!

There is hope in Jesus Christ.  There is refuge in Jesus Christ. There is truth in Jesus Christ. There is peace in Jesus Christ.

Right now, make a change.  Do not let another day to go by the same.  We are told we are a new creation in Christ when we commit our lives to him.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17

There is no specific prayer for salvation.  The ABC’s of salvation is a way to commit to memory the a path to salvation.  Want to read more? See the salvation link here,.

If you are making this decision for the first time, it will be good to find a church or group of believers to help you in your new life with Christ.  You’ll want to get a bible and start reading if you do not have one. (We like the New King James Version) The way to learn is to read and be with people that are like minded.

Congratulations in your new life here on earth and we hope to meet you in heaven one day!

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed to the last time. In this you greatly rejoice, through now for a little while.
1 Peter 3:6

Psalm 46:1
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one come to the Father except through Me.”
John 14:6
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6-7
