There is only one path to everlasting life.
Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. Matthew 7:13-14
The narrow path is found by believing and accepting in Jesus Christ and following his teaching.
Jesus is the path to everlasting life.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16
Turn away from the world and the path of the world. You may not have the finest material things. You may not be popular. You may be hated by people.
And He said to them, “Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses,” Luke 12:15
But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 1 Timothy 6:9-10
The righteous should choose his friends carefully, for the way of the wicked leads them astray. Proverbs 12:26
Do not be deceived, “Evil company corrupts good habits,” Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame. 1 Corinthians 15:33
Hated by People
And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. Matthew 10:22 and Mark 13:13
Do not marvel, my brethren, if the world hates you. 1 John 3:13
Therefore, live a Godly and holy life. Be set apart. Be chosen. Be a sheep and Jesus will be your shepherd.
Be Godly and Holy
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Galatians 5:22-23
I beseech you therefore, brethren by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. Romans 12:1
Be Set Apart
Do not love the world or the things of the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world – the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life – is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever. 1 John 2:15-17
But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy. 1 Peter 2:9-10
The Lord’s Sheep
The Jesus said to them again, “most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who ever come before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door. If anyone enter by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. John 10:7-11
